If goods need to be transported in longitudinal or lateral direction, shuttle cars or transfer carriages from MSB are the optimum solution, particularly if long distances need to be covered quickly. Individually equipped, they can transport almost all piece goods weighing up to 30 tons at a speed of up to 3 m/s. Examples of equipment which can be combined with our shuttle cars and transfer carriages are roller conveyors, chain conveyors, turntables or even corner transfer units. conveying lines can thus be directly linked to changes in direction of the goods being conveyed.

The wheel sets of our rail guided shuttle cars can be supplied with or without Vulkollan coating. This coating not only ensures that the shuttle cars run quietly, but also provides better protection against wear & tear, greater damping and gentle conveying movements. Wheel flanges or roller guides can guide the travelling movements from the sides.
