Transporting and packing tissue paper

MSB's transport and packing systems for tissue paper are adapted individually to fulfil the particular requirements for handling the soft, voluminous rolls of tissue. In such applications, we therefore fit special components, which have been optimised for carefully moving tissue papers, to all conveyor and packing systems. The handling of rolls in the mill can thus be designed in the optimum manner; from take-up at the point of manufacture, to transporting and packaging the rolls through to sales logistics.

MSB supplies the conveying and handling systems required for this purpose, such as:

• Handling systems to pull the shafts from the rolls and insert the cardboard cores
• Slat conveyors in a special, wide execution with appropriate flattening that can reliably transport upright standing and lying tissue rolls
• Systems to wrap the rolls of tissue with stretch film
