Conveying technologies for foundries and the automotive industry

MSB has supplied and modernised conveying systems and special solutions for foundries and the automotive industry for more than 25 years now. These are always adapted individually to meet the requirements of our customers. Although foundries casting engine blocks are a key focus of our work here, our conveyors also carry all other castings weighing up to 30 tons safely and reliably.

Conveying systems from MSB are perfectly prepared to withstand the hard production conditions: they take on-going operation, dirt and mechanical influences in their stride. We have developed solutions that are tailored to the different areas of production in foundries:

Customised solutions
Alongside a broad range of individual conveying systems, MSB also offers customised solutions, such as core immersion machines, hammer stations or manipulators to handle cores or castings. Complete customised machines to move goods are also possible.

Modernisation
Apart from constructing new conveying systems, we regularly modernise existing ones. We do so independent of manufacturer and try to keep the disturbance to on-going production as low as possible.

Retrofitting

The entire plant is reviewed to establish whether it still conforms to current machinery directives. Equipment relevant to safety is then brought up to the current state-of-the-art.
