Our customer in Germany produces over 50 different rolled sections, which vary greatly in cross-section, length and weight per metre. These were to be sorted, destacked, strapped and weighed fully automatically by a new stacker system and subsequently transported for further processing.

Stainless steel vessels used to prepare liquids by our customer in Germany had previously been set down more or less randomly in the production halls wherever there was space. It had always been a tiresome, time-consuming job finding the vessels again and transporting them for further processing.

Conveying system for an irradiation installation

Our customer in Germany disinfects cardboard cartons and the like for its clients in a 10MeV electron accelerator. These cartons need to be unpacked fully automatically from Euro pallets, transported for irradiation and subsequently stacked onto a Euro pallet again and fastened. The design had to take account not only of high quantities and very short turnaround times, but special machines were also required due to the high levels of radiation and ozone.

Stainless steel

MSB always uses stainless steel when our conveyors or customised systems are subject to particularly high mechanical, thermal or chemical stresses: stainless steel is the ideal material here because of its resistance to acid and corrosion and because it is easy to clean.
