Sektionalstopper

Sectional Stopper: The Sectional Stopper stops, buffers and separates the rolls between the winder and the conveying line. The stopper flaps are moved by pneumatic cylinders. The total width as well as the number of sections refers to the trim width of the winder.

Rollenidentifikation

Roll Identification: At the Roll Identification station, the shape of the bottom/top of the paper rolls is checked and the width and the diameter are measured. The station can also optionally be equipped with either an ink-jet coding system to place text or barcode strings onto the bottom/top of the roll or with an automatic labelling system.

Drehtisch

Turntable: A Turntable is able to change the paper roll’s conveying direction in every possible way. The turning movement is done by frequency controlled drive units. For bearing units, a ball bearing slewing rim is used.

gemuldete Plattenbaender

Moulded Slat Conveyors: For the transport of paper rolls, Moulded Slat Conveyors with frequency controlled drive units are used. These conveyors can be used mounted at ground level or elevated. Two roller chains, on which v-shape forged support plates are welded, operate as a transport medium and bearing element.

Aufstellvorrichtung

Upender: To tilt the paper rolls from a horizontal into the upright position or vice versa, an Upender is used. The design consists of a frame that can be titled within a 90° angle on which a moulded and a plain slat conveyor are mounted. The tilting movement can be carried out either hydraulically or electrically.

Senkrechtfoerderer

Lowerator: To change the level of the roll transport within a conveying line Lowerators or Elevators are installed. The lowering/lifting movements are executed by a frequency controlled electrical drive unit and a counterweight for power optimisation. With this technology high cycle times can be attained. The lowering/lifting frame can be equipped with slat conveyors or platforms of various designs.

Gerades Plattenband

Plain Slat Conveyors: To transport upright paper rolls, frequency controlled Plain Slat Conveyors are used. The roller chains, on which replaceable square-shaped tubes are mounted, operate as a transport medium and bearing element. The correct width of the conveyors is chosen based on the maximum roll diameter to be transported.

Verfahrwagen

Trolley: To change the conveying axis within a transport system, Trolleys are implemented. As it is a drive unit, the Trolley is equipped with a frequency controlled motor. The wagon travels upon a set of wheels on steel rails with a guiding unit.

Einlagerplatz

Input Conveyor: From the Input Conveyor the paper rolls are transferred to the warehouse crane. Before this occurs, the paper rolls are both adjusted and positioned. The data content of the labels is also checked. The paper rolls are stored with a specific tolerance so they are able to picked up by the vacuum crane.

Abnahmebaender

Shipping Conveyors: The paper rolls are commissioned and placed ready for shipping on the Shipping Conveyors. They can be unloaded from either the side or the front. The conveyors can be stopped through the initiation of induction loops or photocells. The labels of the paper rolls are placed in a way so as to be visible by the forklift driver.
