Plain Slat Conveyors: The paper rolls are transported onto the Plain Slat Conveyors in the upright position. The correct width of the conveyors is based on the roll dimensions and roll weights to be handled. Widths from 1000 mm up to 2500 mm can be transported. Depending on the specifications, the conveyors are equipped with roller chains of either two or three threads. The standard conveyors carry a maximum load of 30 rolls per conveyor. In special designs, higher loads are also possible.

Verfahrwagen

Trolley: For lateral shifting of rolls or pallets, rail-guided Trolleys are used. With frequency controlled drive units they can operate at high speeds and are equipped with a transport device, in the form of either roller conveyors, chain conveyors or slat conveyors. Electrical feeding is possible and depends on the respective application whether trailing cable, power track chains or bus bars.

Aufstellvorrichtung mit Palettenpositionierung

Upender with Pallet Positioning: On the Upender one or several paper rolls can be tilted from the horizontal to the upright position or vice versa. As an example for an additional function, different sizes of dispatch pallets can be positioned and fixed before loading the rolls.

Energy Absorbing Roll Stopper: After the release of the produced paper rolls from the winder, the internal transport chain to the dispatch area begins. To ensure a quick discharge of the paper rolls, pneumatically operated Roll Stoppers position the incoming rolls within a few seconds on the slat conveyor without any additional movement or surface damage to of the rolls.

Stablerabnahme

Pick-Up Point: The strapped pallets are picked up by forklift at the Pick-Up Points and transported to the warehouse area where they are stored intermediately before being loaded onto a truck. The Pick-Up Point is controlled through induction loops, and pallets are only transported to the Pick-Up Point if the induction loop is not occupied by a forklift. A sturdy protection device helps avoid damage.

Eckumsetzer

90°- Conveyor: The conveying equipment for paper rolls on dispatch pallets orientates itself in accordance with the stability of the transport medium. For a quick change of conveying direction, 90°-Conveyors are used with mounted roller conveyors for one direction and chain conveyors for the other direction. The lifting movement is done either electrically, hydraulically or pneumatically.

Umreifung

Strapping Unit: A sturdy fixation of the load plays an important role when dispatching paper rolls to the customer. Strapping Units using plastic straps fix one or several paper rolls onto the dispatch pallet to avoid slippage and tipping. The control of the belt tension is done electronically to avoid damage.

Rollgang

Roller Conveyor: The pallets are transported to the different targets by the Roller Conveyors. The destination is chosen either by our PLC or the customer’s data processing system. The Roller Conveyors are designed for a maximum load of 5000 kg per segment. They can optionally be used as a buffer.

Palettenmagazine

Pallet Stacks: For the efficient and space-saving buffering of different pallet sizes, they can be transported by forklift to the Pallet Stacks before they enter the automatic transport sequence. They can be isolated and released fully automatically according to demand. The decision about the different pallet sizes is taken either by our PLC or customer’s data processing system.

Drehtische

Turntables: Flush-mounted Turntables with slat conveyors are used to change the paper roll’s transport direction. They can be adapted to the customer’s respective demands and are able to be traversed by heavy forklifts. The Turntables are either mounted into a foundation pit or as a special construction under the ceiling. Maintenance holes enable access to the internal components.

gemuldete Plattenbänder

Moulded Slat Conveyors: The paper rolls are transported by Slat Conveyors which are mounted on the floor. It is possible to make these conveyors traversable for heavy vehicles. The conveying chains are robust roller chains fitted with welded moulded plates and are delivered with maintenance-free needle bearings which are lubricated for a lifetime.
