Tambour Transfer Car: To transport full tambours to another building rail-guided Tambour Transfer Cars are used allowing an almost unlimited load capacity and travelling distance. Special spring- type bearings ensure a smooth loading through the operating personnel. Because of the flush-mounted design of the rails, they can be traversed by vehicles.
Shaftpuller with Core Stock: The automation of the removal of the tambour after the winding process and the automatic loading of an empty tambour with core removal, relieves the operating personnel from this routine job. In the Core Stock, empty cores can be delivered on pallets to save time, and then stored and released automatically.
Lift Table: After the winding process, the tambours come to a special Lift Table which lifts the tambour to the level of the shaftpuller and lowers the remaining tissue roll to the following transport level.
Transport Car: To transport the tissue rolls within the building, rail-guided Transport Cars equipped with mounted conveyors to transport one or two rolls are used. The Transport Cars are either fitted with an emergency cut-out device due to safety regulations or are protected by safety fences.
Moulded Slat Conveyors: For the transport of the horizontal soft tissue mother-rolls, wide Slat Conveyors with moulded plates are a reliable solution. They can be mounted onto the floor or in a pit. Because of the special design of the Conveyors, the weight of the tissue roll is distributed over a large surface and will be therefore only marginally damaged.
Film Stretching Machine: For the transport and dispatch of the sensitive tissue rolls a Film Stretching Machine can be chosen. Depending on the customer’s demands, rolls are wrapped axially or packaged in combination with one or several layers of plastic film. High performance machines of this kind can smoothly wrap up to 30 rolls/h.
