Oscillating Channel: The Oscillating Channel is used for the final cleaning of the motor blocks. The motor blocks are fed into the Oscillating Channel with the V-shape at the bottom. Through strong vibrations grit and material residues are removed from the motor blocks. The motor blocks are piled up in the Channel and then fed onto the following roller conveyor pneumatically.

Wendestation

Turning Station: The Turning Station is used to automatically turn the motor blocks. With this operation the motor block is conveyed in the opposite direction for additional rework . The fixation of the motor blocks is done pneumatically and is automatically adjusted to suit the different sizes of the motor blocks. The lifting and turning movements are motor driven. Depending on the type of motor block, the required lifting and turning angle can be entered into the control system.

Querwagen

Trolley: Trolleys are used to change the conveying axis within the transport line. When used as a drive unit, the Trolleys are equipped with a frequency controlled motor. The Trolley runs on a set of wheels on rails with side guides.

Ein_auslauf_wheel

Intake - Discharge Wheel: The intake and discharge unit acts for the fully automatic feed-in and disposal of the Wheel. It is thus possible for five different types of motor blocks to be transported by the mounted roller conveyor. When used as a transport medium, special roller conveyors with short transport rollers are chosen. The lifting movements for operations are executed hydraulically.

Kurvenrollgang

Curved Roller Conveyor: The Curved Roller Conveyor is used to change the conveying direction of the motor blocks. It is equipped with conical support rollers with lateral duplex-chains. The drive motor is powered by a chain reduction gear. Special rigged cover sheets protect the chains against the intrusion of blasting material.

Entkerner

Decorer: The Decorer is used for the first cleaning of the motor blocks after the initial casting. The motor blocks are taken in on one side by the operator and discharged by a second operator at the opposite side. The pneumatically operated hammers are lowered after the infeed of the motor blocks and strike the motor block. Depending on the degree of dirtiness of the motor blocks, the duration of the hammering can be chosen on the operating panel.

Plattenband

Slat Conveyor: The Slat Conveyor is used to transport the motor blocks. The cleaning of the motor blocks is done by operators positioned at the side of the Conveyor. Either a continuous flow and a sequenced flow can be chosen. The conveying speed is also adjustable by the frequency controlled drive units.

Arbeitsplatz

Workplace: The Workplace is used for a manual reworking of the motor blocks. The motor blocks are buffered in front of the workplaces. The operator requests the motor blocks by pushing a footswitch. The single motor blocks are released pneumatically and positioned by the operator.

Rhoenradwender

Wheeling Unit: The Wheeling Unit is used to turn the motor block. The motor block is fed into the machine in a horizontal position. After intake, the motor block it is turned so that it can be transferred with the V-shape to the bottom into the oscillating channel. Two roller conveyors arranged in a V-position are used as transport medium. The angle of the V-position can be changed from 90° to 120°.
