Palettenreinigungsstation

Pallet Cleaning Station: The Pallet Cleaning Station removes sand and any blackening from the pallets. For this they are fixed and tilted into the Cleaning Station. The cleaning is done by a rotating brush. Seals surrounding Cleaning Station help avoid any leakage of sand.

Rollgang

Roller Conveyor: The Roller Conveyor is used to transport support pallets within the conveying line. Integrated into the Roller Conveyor are stoppers and release blockers for the individual buffering or release of the support pallets. For this, the Roller Conveyor can either be used as a stationary drive unit or as a buffer conveyor.

Eckumsetzer

90°- Conveyor: The 90°-Conveyor consists of a roller conveyor and a chain conveyor. In the example shown, the roller conveyor is lifted and respectively lowered by an electrical eccentric drive. The intake of the pallet can be individually chosen either from the direction of the chain conveyor or from the roller conveyor.

Kettenbahn

Chain Conveyor: The Chain Conveyor is used for shifting the support pallets inside the system. As a means of conveyance, specially designed chains with plain plates are used. A tensioning unit adapted to the design of the conveyor is also integrated. Guiding units placed to the side or in the middle of the conveyor complete the system.

Schlichtearbeitsplatz

Finishing Workplace: In the pictured Finishing Workplace, different types of cores can be finished. After the automatically intake, both the core and the pallet are fixed to the defined core prints, lifted, turned 180° and then lowered into the black wash. For the even distribution and draining of the black wash, the core parts can be oscillated individually. The finished core incl. pallet are discharged automatically and removed by the operator.

Gurtfoerderer

Conveyor Belt: The pictured Conveyor Belt serves as an intermediate buffer for the blackened core parts. After the manual charging of the Conveyor, it chooses a cycle to ensure a maximum load on the Belt. The belt itself is made of a smooth material with wide pores. At the end of the Conveyor Belt, the core parts are removed by the operator and put onto the pallet of the main system.

Hubstation

Lifting Station: The Lifting Station is used to change the transport level within the system. The mounted transport medium can be chosen according to need. The frequency controlled lifting drive is controlled through an absolute measurement system. This serves to ensure exact positioning at the hand-over points, which guarantees secure delivery of the individual components.

Transportpalette

Transport Pallet: The aluminium plate is executed mechanically on the core receiver as well as on the core support points. To reduce wear, wear blocks are mounted under the pallets. There is also an integrated guiding rail under the pallet. To ensure exact positioning, each pallet is inserted with both a circular and a long slot connector.

Roboteraufgabe

Robot Feeding Point: At the Feeding Point, the pallets are centred by a hydraulic positioning unit according to the tolerance demands of the robot. After the positioning of the pallet, the core elements can either be removed from the pallet or finished on the pallet.
